This very well may be one of the influences of "Dazed and Confused". It has a similar vibe, setting, and spirited sense of an unknown for future for the characters. Even if I'm right about the influence it doesn't come anywhere near to the likability of Linklater's 90's classic.

A movie set mostly in one room and with three characters. The dialogue is key here and it's mostly not that interesting. I don't really care too much about the characters and the story goes in an uninteresting direction. It seemed like a creative set up but ultimately unsuccessful - For a more successful one-room movie, try Linklater's "Tape".

Denzel does it again. Damn, he is good! The Tony Scott/Denzel Washington pairing is one of the most successful in the medium. It's sad Scott had to take his life... Anyway, a very enjoyable kick-butt movie. Upset it took me so long to see it.

This was a surprisingly decent movie. I came for the beauty and walked away with a worthy story. The main character was very likable, however her love interest, not so much. I kept thinking he was going to be bad, but that's mainly because Rufus Sewell usually does play the bad guy. He just has a menacing face.
