An average life-affirming movie. Luckily for the film I love life-affirming movies. I thought all the characters were interesting and backed by a stellar cast. My main gripe was Hector wanting to sleep with another woman so quickly into his travels/search. It made me not like the character and it took a while to forgive him.

This is the kind of movie that should have been a huge hit, much like the story was in the 1980s. If this movie were released in the 1990s, I think it would have been a hit. It's simply a 90's type of movie. I love when everyone is playing a part in achieving a singular goal but they have their own ambitions. This movie does an average job with the material.
Plus, it's buoyed by the it being about saving whales.5 years, 11 months ago

This should have been Cars 2! It is actually a worthwhile sequel and makes total sense. It's fun, emotionally valid, and actually pays good tribute to Paul Newman, unlike "Cars 2" really lame and short version of one.
It's upsetting because this one is actually good and a lot of people probably didn't care to see it after hearing/knowing the weakness of the first sequel.5 years, 12 months ago
