Nice people doing not-so-nice things and not nice people doing nice things. It's about friendship, sibling relationships, loneliness, love for a friend, love for a pet, love of a good pint. It's about music, lack of music, leaving a legacy, going mad and making it known, going mad and not realizing it. It's about abuse of power, abuse of time, and abuse of kindness. It's subtle and it's not so subtle. Director: His 5th Movie My 1st movie watched from the directorThis is a movie I can't seem to get out of my head. The imagery and tone hit hard. I'm thankful for knowing nothing about it going in. Fiennes continues to quietly be one of the all-time great actors and the rest of the cast is importantly strong to make any of the ridiculousness believable.
