Director: Stanley Donen His 7th movie My 11th movie watched from the directorThis is one I've been mildly curious about most of my life and now finally seeing it... it's actually kind of an odd and funny musical though I think I only really liked one of the songs. Director: Cary Joji Fukunaga His 4th movie My 4th movie watched from the directorThis felt more like a part 2 to "Spectre" rather than just a continuation of the overall Bond story. There are some obvious spoilers here, so I'll just say the ending was quite... interesting. The production value is so good and sits above most action films these days. The stunt choreography, the action sequence design, the production design, costumes, VFX... they all work so well with each other. Director: Greta Gerwig Her 3rd movie My 2nd movie watched from the directorHigh production value and a stellar cast takes the source material into a beautiful world. Director: Matt Reeves His 6th movie My 5th movie watched from the directorThe trailer made it look like it was trying too hard to be "dark" and Pattinson's Batman looked too emo. Well, it was far from this. I was finally convinced to see it and there is enough to like in this yet-another-reboot. Reeves' direction, the music and supporting cast saved it from being a joke.
