Director: Michael Bay His 15th movie My 11th movie watched from the directorI was really hoping this would bring Bay back to days of "The Rock" and "Bad Boys" and while it's not bad, it definitely didn't hit those marks. The Action is good, of course, that's what we want. The acting is a little rough, even from Gyllenhaal - Plus he wasn't believable in this role. The pacing and editing is absurd, part of the 'Mayhem' appeal for some, but it actually ruins it. Actually what ruined, as with most Bay films, is the script. It was awful - dialogue and story.Added to Lists: Top Ten Performances - Eiza Gonzalez Speeding Along - Movies set in vehicles not on a road trip Top Ten Films - Michael Bay __________ Location: Los Angeles, CA, USA

Director: Paul Greengrass His 10th movie My 8th movie watched from the directorI'm thankful I finally got to see this movie, because it really clarifies all that happened that day and in the aftermath. It was truly horrific, really tough to watch. The first act was reminiscent of Greengrass' "United 93" but then he spends a lot more time focusing on a critically-injured survivor, the monster and his trial, and the country's political handling. It gets long and I feel they could have cut a half hour out of it, but it's still effective and at least a unique approach to a film about a violent event.Added to Lists: Top Ten Films - Paul Greengrass It's Just a Date __________ Location: Oslo, Norway

Season 2
This season was an improvement, but he still has a tough time ending his skits. He definitely tried some weirder comedy which was hit and miss. My favorite skit was the one with the hat, as pictured.

Director: Susan Lacy Her 7th movie My 2nd movie watched from the directorThis is a profile on a very influential record producer who I have, for a long time, wanted to know more about and understand. Watching this has helped put a lot of pieces together and understand the evolution of music and movies a little more. He is certainly an interesting character and this doc does a very good job of showing this and showing how his personality and approach made him successful. He has led a very interesting life and it really shows it without spending too much or too little time on anything.Added to Lists: Best Documentaries of the 2010s Best Music Documentaries The History of the Music Industry Through Film __________

Limited Series
Unfortunately this show is a result of producers relying too much on the gimmick of 'randomized' episodes. No matter what order you watch these in I'm sure it won't be good. The dialogue is terrible the characters and storylines are insultingly cliche and the post-heist episode is horrible, with it being a slap in the face to anyone who made it that far. I wouldn't have actually watched all of it, but it was our son's choice, and a show he likes, so I had to stick it out, with love. Main Locations: Manhattan, NYC, NY, USA
