17 filles review

Posted : 9 years, 8 months ago on 13 July 2014 01:57 (A review of 17 filles)

An unlikely yet true story of seventeen friends being pregnant around the same time. The filmmakers were blessed with an interesting story but failed to maximize its quality and seemed to cherish downplaying everything.

The Bridges of Madison County review

Posted : 9 years, 8 months ago on 11 July 2014 03:01 (A review of The Bridges of Madison County)

The coolest, roughest man in America does a love story. Aaaww.

Still manages to be cool and pairs well with the perfection of Meryl Streep

Chimpanzee review

Posted : 9 years, 8 months ago on 11 July 2014 02:43 (A review of Chimpanzee)

Disney Nature started big with "Earth", then into "Oceans", narrowed further with "African Cats" and now to one specific animal "Chimpanzee". What's next, "Flamingo Legs"?

A Good Old Fashioned Orgy (2011) review

Posted : 9 years, 8 months ago on 9 July 2014 12:14 (A review of A Good Old Fashioned Orgy (2011))

A Good Old Fashioned B Comedy that draws some laughs from a cast that didn't seem able to let go and make it their own. The title suggests more.

Sex & Drugs & Rock & Roll review

Posted : 9 years, 8 months ago on 8 July 2014 08:34 (A review of Sex & Drugs & Rock & Roll)

Andy Serkis is insane as punk rocker Ian Dury. The acid trip of a movie is lively in visuals with superb acting but with an uneven and uninteresting narrative.

Year One review

Posted : 9 years, 9 months ago on 29 June 2014 02:24 (A review of Year One)

Harold Ramis used to be king of the comedy, this movie certainly does not show it. There is some great improv with Black and Cera, but the one note comedy gets old half way through.

Piranha 3D review

Posted : 9 years, 9 months ago on 29 June 2014 03:31 (A review of Piranha 3D)

Going into it I wasn't expecting a good movie but there are enough funny moments and ridiculousness to make it enjoyable. On top of that Kelly Brooke is stunning
