A huge movie with few rewards. Jennifer Lawrence is clearly a star and some of the supporting cast makes it watchable, but too many of cast would benefit from acting lessons.

Crystal Fairy & The Magical Cactus review

Michael Cera is an asshole and he plays it splendidly. Strange little micro-budget film about the wonders and disappointments of taking hallucinogens.

Surviving Progress review

Some intriguing vignettes and more examples of how humans are destroying their planet... but there is still hope

Upside Down review

I really liked the animated opening and had high expectations for this unique idea... but alas this is a hokey, lame attempt at a sic-fi romance. Sure the visuals are cool but once the gimmick wears off you're left with an unimaginative script with actors phoning it in, and a director and editor who do not deserve such an opportunity.

Elles review

An interesting story with a solid performance from Binoche. I liked the editing and direction in half the scenes but it was the other half that prevented this from being truly good. Uneven, in less words.

The High Cost of Living review

Nice performances surrounding this heartbreaking but somewhat beautiful story of lost souls. I'd like to see more of what Isabelle Blais can do, she is very likable and believable... a nice contrast to Zach Braff.

Bellflower (2011) review

Someone called this hipstersploitation. I think that's a pretty funny and good way to describe this messy, aimless terrible acting film.
It's fun at times and some of their ideas and stupid stuff they get into is entertaining.

World Trade Center review

There is noooo waaaaay Oliver Stone directed this. Possibly the most overdramatic fake telling of a real event. Lame.

The Guilt Trip review

The mother is purposely annoying, which I expected and this expectation is what helped me get through the first third of the movie so I could watch the entire movie, which ended up being not too bad.
Nothing new here, but I can't help enjoy any road trip movie.

I Spit on Your Grave review

A haunting low budget slasher film that revels in its rawness, from having no score to brutal violence and sex.
